Migration, Urbanization and Integration of Afghan Migrants in Iran is carried out in the framework of a joint collaboration between Sharif University of Technology (Iran Migration Observatory) and Department of Geography and Geology, University of Turku, Finland. This survey aims to address issues such as mobility and migration of Afghan migrants in Iran, as well as their desire to migrate to third countries or return to Afghanistan. In addition, the issues such as social and economic integration of Afghan immigrants in Iran have been addressed in this research project. The survey examines Afghan refugees and migrants in four cities of Iran including: Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan and Kerman provinces.
